“It’s not bragging if it’s true!” Our DPC volunteers are
such a dynamic
and dedicated group of
individuals that they were recognized in 2008 by the
President George W.
Bush.

Below are listed the
areas, and a brief description, in which you may consider
being involved in this ministry.

Counselor: Meet with
clients to counsel on matters of abortion, fetal development, single
parenting, adoption, abstinence.
Receptionist:
Answer phones; greet clients; initial intake of client
information; data entry
Clerical Support: Making
copies, stapling, collating, helping with mail-outs, and other
clerical work
Store Worker: Helping
sort and organize donated items; working a weekly shift in the
store; cleaning and washing donated items

Special Events Support:
"Man the Booth" at public relation events, help with fundraising
events
Group Facilitator:
Teach/facilitate educational classes, i.e. parenting, toddler,
prenatal, support groups
Mentor:
Meet one-on-one with a client to help with discipleship,
parenting skills, goal-setting, life skills, etc.
Board Member: Serve
on the DPC Board of Directors to help facilitate operations and
guidance
Prayer Support: Serve on
the DPC prayer chain/committee to pray for specific clients and
needs of the center
Medical Support: Work with
sonogram program (nurse, doctor, sono-tech)
